Deathly Hallows: Introduction
While I’m sure this book needs no formal introduction, I’m going to do it anyway. Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series written by JK Rowling. It was released in July 2007 to an eagerly awaiting fandom of Harry Potter lovers young and old. The book is a daunting tale of Harry’s final meeting with Voldemort. The first time I read it, I cried several times throughout the book for reasons I will be sure to reveal throughout this “guide” or “review”.
From Bloomsbury:
With these words Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince draws to a close. And here, in this seventh and final book, Harry discovers what fate truly has in store for him as he inexorably makes his way to that final meeting with Voldemort.
In this thrilling climax to the phenomenally bestselling series, J.K. Rowling reveals all to her eagerly waiting readers.
Welcome!
Hey! My name is Sarah and this Sarah’s Reads. The site was originally going to be called “Sarah Reads” but the name was already taken on WordPress so that was a huge disappointment. Basically what this site is going to be is a place for me to discuss books that I am reading. One of my tasks for my Day Zero (aka 101 in 1001) list is to read 50 novels in one year – then on this site I am going to discuss those novels on a chapter by chapter basis (maybe join some chapters together depending on the novel). It’s for my own personal gain but also for yours as well. If you see a book that you’ve wanted to read, read it along with me, and then leave comments to discuss your opinions.
I will have a running list of books that I have read somewhere in either the sidebar or up above with the links to their entries, and the category tags will be by author.
PLEASE BE AWARE, THERE MAY BE SPOILERS IN THE POSTS AND THEY WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED ON AN ENTRY BY ENTRY BASIS – THERE WILL BE NO WARNING OTHER THAN RIGHT HERE.
Enjoy!
Sarah
